Kelesha's Place

All proceeds from this music will help students from the three schools where I
have been a classroom teacher.  I plan on distributing three savings bonds
totalling $600/ year. Eighth Grade Students who apply for this will have their
essay evaluated by Jennifer Mills, representing Nightingale Elementary
School, Linda McNeil,  representing Montezuma Elementary School and
Patricia Mayorga representing Washington Elementary School. Awards
will be redeemable upon graduation from High School when the recipient
enrolls in college.

In the light of rising expectation for students to be proficient writers for college entry,
I encourage our Middle Schoolers to attain their best early.

The Kelesha Martin Book Fund is currently funded for $1,800. Regardless of
whether students actually  enter this contest, I will continue to keep this
fund  in place for three more years. If any funds remain after the 2012-2013
school year, the remaining funds will go to my first school Montessori
Chiildren's House to help students with financial need.

Many years ago, Montessori Children's House, in Stockton, California, helped our
family, when we had financial need.
